Hardlabor Creek
Kennel pups carry a Hip and Eye Guarantee. This covers any genetic problem which would
prevent this animal from being certified by The Orthopedic Foundation, Inc. (OFA) or the
Canine Registration Foundation, Inc. (CERF).
Because it is
impossible to say any given dog will not be completely free from genetic problems... We
research the backgrounds of the sires and dams and any litters they may have produced. Our
goal is to reduce the odds of producing a defective pup or litter, by adhering to these
high standards we offer this guarantee. (Providing the purchaser complies with this
agreement)
Health Guarantee
Your Pup has
been seen by the veterinarian for Dewclaw Removal, Shots, General Health Check-Up and
Worming. At this time the general health of your pup is excellent. If your puppy is found
to be dysplastic or suffering from an inherited eye defect, Hardlabor Creek Kennel will
replace it with a puppy of equal or better breeding. This is after the return of the dog
and the AKC papers, or proof that the dog has been put to sleep has been provided to us.
We will select a replacement pup from any of our future breedings that you prefer. This
guarantee is good for 25 months.
OR:
Because we hope
that this puppy will become an important member of your family, it is not necessary to
return the dog or destroy it to collect on this agreement. Should you have a problem but
want to keep the dog, we will, upon proof of the dysplasia or eye defect, refund one-half
of the original purchase price of the dog. The male/female must be neutered/spayed and
proof of the same provided to us.
The O.F.A.
shall be the sole judge regarding hip dysplasia, and the Canine Eye Registration
Foundation (CERF) shall be the sole judge regarding eye defects.
It is
understood that the above warranties are expressly regarding congenital, hereditary
defects and any physical injury to the dogs voids this guarantee. If the dog has been bred
before being cleared by OFA and CERF this guarantee is void. This guarantee applies
only to the original purchaser of the dog.
