All of our puppies are whelped in our home, which is on the premises, to receive special individual stimulation until they are about 4 weeks old...at this time they need more room than the whelping box allows. In the puppy house they stay on ½ newspaper and ½ pine shavings to start the potty training process early.

We also give our new "Hardlabor Creek Kennel" puppy owners (and future clients) lots of helpful advice and articles on house-breaking, crate training and good socialization. Ideally, we like to send our puppies (and new owners) home with a "live" pigeon to continue the retrieving training at home.
